Solidarity is key to ASEAN’s success: PM
(VOVWORLD) - Solidarity is the foundation of ASEAN and the key to its success, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Tuesday at the official release of the mid-term review of ASEAN Community Vision 2025 Blueprints and the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework and the launch of the ASEAN Regional Reserve of Medical Supplies.

The meeting was held virtually within the framework of the 37th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits. Phuc said: “Announcing part of ASEAN’s achievements today, I want to reiterate that solidarity is the foundation of ASEAN cooperation and the key to its success. 2020 is wrapping up. The achievements we have obtained so far and our joint efforts have helped the region overcome difficulties and challenges, towards long-term peace, stability, development and prosperity.”
He also thanked other ASEAN countries and international partners for their support and cooperation with Vietnam.
