(VOVworld) - More than 500 university students in Ho Chi Minh City have joined a charity campaign called "Cleaning houses to welcome Tet” by the South African honorary consulate to give gifts to poor people on the occasion of Tet.
The volunteers will clean the houses of people registering for the service, and use the money they earn to make square sticky rice cakes and buy clothes and other items to donate to poor people, enabling them to celebrate Tet. It is the second year the charity program has been carried out.
