South African President praises Vietnam’s achievements

(VOVworld) - South African President Jacob Zuma has praised Vietnam’s achievements under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam in recent years.
President Zuma made the remark on Wednesday when he received the newly-appointed Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Le Huy Hoang. He said his country’s leaders and people always admire the valiant spirit of Vietnamese people in their struggle for independence, freedom and national unity in the past, considering it a model for South African people’s struggle against Apartheid.
He expressed his hope that Ambassador Hoang will actively contribute to reinforcing and deepening the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, especially in economics, trade and education, during his tenure.
