(VOVworld) – South Korean prosecutors on Wednesday asked President Park Geun-hye to attend an interrogation next Tuesday, part of the investigation of a corruption scandal involving Park’s long-time friend Choi Soon-sil.

The Prosecutors’ Office is waiting for an answer from the President’s office. The request was made 3 days after Prosecutors said Park Geun-hye conspired in criminal activities with Choi Soon-sil and two of her former secretaries.
