(VOVWORLD) - South Korea's National Security Council (NSC) has expressed strong regret over North Korea's latest missile launch.

In an emergency meeting on Thursday, the NSC called on North Korea to respond to calls for dialogue, saying that tensions on the Korean Peninsula must not be raised further.
North Korea on Thursday fired two suspected ballistic missiles into the sea in its sixth round of weapons launches this month, South Korea's military said. The weapons flew 190 kilometers on an apogee of 20 km before landing at sea.
