Participants from Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria- Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, and Tay Ninh proposed a number of key contents for tourism link strategy such as enhancing cooperation in market survey to build suitable tourism products, regional tourism promotion programs, human resources training, mechanisms and policies reform, and tourism infrastructure development in par with protecting natural resources and the environment and ensuring national security.

Pham Ngoc Hai, Chairman of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Association, said: "Every province should build their own trademark, while boosting exchange and cooperation. Travel agencies often have only one office in a province. Very few companies have many representative offices like Viettravel and Saigontourist. We should enhance cooperation to connect tours and build a regional tourism development strategy.”
