(VOVworld) - Spanish police have arrested ten French citizens and freed a Spanish man who had been kidnapped for six days in the town of Benahavis near the southern resort of Marbella. Footage published by the Spanish Interior ministry shows police officers putting handcuffs on the kidnappers at the living room of the villa, where the 27-year-old victim was being held. The Spanish man was kidnapped in the town of Mijas on August 18 and the captors were threatening to kill him unless they received 39,000 USD in exchange for his release. The victim is believed to have suffered psychological damage and bruises to his face.
