Song Tu Tay island of Spatly archipelago

(VOVworld) – A ceremony to mark the 37^th Liberation Day of Truong Sa or Spratly archipelago was held on Saturday in Song Tu Tay island. Lieutenant General Dao Duy Minh, the Deputy Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army said the victory leading to liberation of Truong Sa archipelago once again demonstrated the growing strength and combat capacity of Vietnam People’s Army. He stressed the glorious task of safeguarding the archipelago in particular and national sea territories in general. Minh urged the army to make most efforts to maintain peace and stability, contributing to national construction and defence.
