(VOVworld) – The 2015 Spring Economic Forum, themed “Continuing to reform the investment and business climate in Vietnam: Turning Words into Action”, opened in Vinh City, Nghe An province, on Tuesday.

The two-day forum reviews the results of Vietnam’s 2014 socio-economic development plan and proposes measures to implement socio-economic plans during 2015.
Economists and policy makers debated specific ways to continue the reform of Vietnam’s business environment and analyzed criteria and standards for business environment reform in line with the revised 2013 Constitution and newly promulgated laws, including the bidding law, the investment law, and the enterprise law.
The forum’s recommendations will be submitted to the National Assembly Economic Committee for revision of the National Assembly’s resolution on the 2014 socio-economic development plan and implementation of the 2015 plan.
