(VOVworld) - At least 12 people were killed and 32 wounded when a suicide bomber wearing a vest packed with explosives attacked a mosque in Abu Ghraib, 25km west of Iraq’s capital, Baghdad. The blast struck as Sunni Muslims were gathering during the holy month of Ramadan.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
The attack was the first in Baghdad since the government of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared victory over Islamic State.
