(VOVworld) – Iraqi police and medical officers said at least 18 were killed, including 5 police officers, and 51 injured in a Tuesday suicide car bombing at a check-point in Kadhimiya, Baghdad.

Another car bomb exploded in a crowded street in the al-Qahira District of north Baghdad, killing 3 people. This is the 3^rd straight day of bombings in Shiite areas of Baghdad. At least 77 people were killed in bombings for which the Islamic State claimed responsibility since last Sunday.
