(VOVworld) -  Syria’s air force increased air strikes targeting the Islamic rebels in northern Aleppo on Saturday, cutting the routes they may use to break the siege of the government troops.

The air strikes destroyed tens of rebels’ vehicles on routes that could help them break the siege of the government troops in western Aleppo. The strikes supported the Syrian military’s campaign in fighting the rebels. Syria has intensified the air strikes after the rebels carried out attacks and occupied several key military bases. Clashes continued at military bases in southern Aleppo. The government troop is doing its utmost to prevent the rebels from moving further.
