(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong has asked Tay Ninh province to maximize the local potential, advantages, and special mechanisms to develop industry, high-tech agriculture, tourism, and service.

At a working session with Tay Ninh authorities on Sunday, Mr. Trong also urged local leaders to pay more attention to social security, taking care of revolutionary contributors, and disadvantaged people. Priority should be given to training qualified human resource and Party building.

On Saturday Party chief Nguyen Phu Trong visited Ninh Dien farm in Chau Thanh district where he praised the dynamism and initiative of its staff in applying technology in sugar cane plantation and sugar production.

He said he was glad “to know that the farm has combined agriculture, industry, and high-tech. It has a modern production line. In the future, I hope the farm will combine processing and harvest, and apply intensive farming by growing sugar canes and cassava to improve the soil. Once the model is successful, it should be expanded.”
