Thailand: Coronation for King Vajiralongkorn will be held later this year

King Bhumibol Adulyadej will be known when the Cabinet meeting is notified next
Tuesday.

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said yesterday that Cabinet
would be notified about the schedule next Tuesday and the details revealed to
public later. However, Wissanu quoted Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha as
saying in the government’s supreme committee on reform, reconciliation, and
national strategy that the cremation will be held in October and the Coronation
for King Vajiralongkorn will be held later this year.
