(VOVworld) – Deputy Head of the Central Highlands Steering Committee, Tran Manh Hung, on Monday visited and congratulated VOV’s Bureau in the Central Highlands on the Lunar New Year.

He spoke highly of VOV’s journalists there for effectively reflecting the Party guidelines and state policies and contributing to local socio-economic development, security, and national defence in the Central Highlands.
VOV’s Central Highlands Bureau produces programs in 6 ethnic languages: Ede, Jarai, Bana, Se Dang, K’Ho, and M’Nong. Their programs have helped preserve the cultural identities of ethnic groups and updated information for the local people.
On Monday Mr. Hung also visited the offices of the Vietnam News Agency and Vietnam TV. He urged the three media agencies to increase cooperation in fulfilling the Party and government policies.
