(VOVworld)-  On Monday, the government convened its monthly meeting for July, the first Cabinet meeting since the 14th National Assembly elected the Prime Minister and passed the list of Cabinet members for 2016-2021.

In his address, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked the Cabinet members to be aware of their responsibilities and grasp issues under their charge to promptly fix weaknesses, especially those of public concern, thus setting out pragmatic solutions to improving the efficiency of State management. He asked the ministries and sectors to fulfill the tasks of the government in designing and building mechanisms and laws. He urged cabinet members to contribute to improving the government’s performance to serve the people: “The government and each cabinet member need to take the lead in practicing thrift and preventing waste. Ministries, sectors and agencies need to effectively use the state budget and public property. It’s necessary to organize online  meetings and apply IT to reduce paper use. We also need to review the use and management of public property”.
