(VOVworld) – Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the New Hanoi Newspaper today/ on Sunday kicked off the Olympic Run Day for Public Health 2017 and launched the 44^th New Ha Noi Newspaper Run for Peace at Ly Thai To Flower Garden in Hanoi. The Olympic Run Day for Public Health 2017 took place across the country at 7am on Sunday.

In Hà Nội, around 7,000 people ran around Hoàn Kiếm Lake this morning. It is also expected to promote importance of sports and encourage people to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s call to exercise for better health, thus contributing to improving the quality of life and building a healthy lifestyle and environment. Last year, the Olympic Run Day was also held on March 26^th in 63 cities and provinces with participation of about 7 million people.
