(VOVworld)-Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has attended the opening ceremony of Vi Thanh road connecting the southern province of Hau Giang and Can Tho City.

After 4 years of construction, the 2-lane road has now shortened the travel time and completed the transport facility for socio-economic development in the Mekong Delta. Addressing the ceremony on Saturday, the Prime Minister urged local provinces to remove obstacles for business operation and mobilize resources for the development of transport, healthcare and school projects.

He met with Hau Giang provincial leaders on Saturday to review local socio-economic development.
