(VOVworld) - The fifth Science Film Festival in Vietnam themed “The World of Light” will take place from October 11 to December 6.

 
The festival is part of activities in response to the 2015 International Year of Light initiated by the United Nations to underline the importance of light and optical technologies in sustainable development. Targeting young audiences, it will feature 13 short films by producers from Thailand, the Philippines, Germany, the UK, and Canada. Festival activities will be organised in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City and in Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Quang Nam, and Dak Lak province.
