In Ha Long city on Saturday, Saigontourist travel agency welcomed the international cruise ship Glory Sea with nearly 600 Chinese tourists on board. They will visit Ha Long Bay, a World Natural Heritage Site, and other famous destinations in Ha Long city, and explore how locals celebrate Tet. Hoang Van Nghe, managing director of Glory Sea Cruise Ship Company, said: “Ha Long Bay is a World Natural Heritage Site. We will never stop bringing guests to the Bay, whose scenery is famous in Vietnam and all over the world. There are beautiful beaches, caves, and other natural spots. Ha Long people are friendly, enthusiastic, and hospitable.  We will constantly develop tourism cooperation with Ha Long city of Quang Ninh province.”

In Da Nang city, temples and pagodas attract a large number of visitors, who pray for luck and  peace. During Tet, the city expects to welcome 290,000 tourists, including 130,000 foreigners. Erich Phan is a Vietnamese-American who returned home for Tet. He said he enjoys the festive atmosphere in Da Nang: “It’s upbeat and cheerful. Tet decorations are seen everywhere. I like Da Nang very much because it has river, sea, and mountains.”

Sunny and warm weather in Khanh Hoa province is ideal for sea entertainment. Vinpearl Land on Hon Tre island, one of the 4 islands in Nha Trang Bay, draws thousands of visitors. Linh Phuong is a visitor from Da Nang: “I want to experience life in Nha Trang, a wonderful coastal city. This is my first visit to Nha Trang. The weather is pleasant. The landscape is marvelous, and the environment is clean.”
