The announcement was made at a press conference held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the capital city on Friday. Organizers said the fair promotes the brand name of tra fish products, expands the export markets, and showcases Vietnam’s major seafood products. Mr. Tran Dinh Luan, Deputy Head of the General Department of Fisheries, said: “There is no difference in terms of quality between seafood products for domestic markets and exports. Tra fish displayed at the fair is labeled for consumers to understand the product origin. Our general department will expand more distribution channels at wholesale and retail centers in the North and fully tap the domestic market of 92 million people”.

Special dishes made with Tra fish prepared by well-known chefs will also be introduced at the fair.
