Nearly 150 photos by VOV journalist Nguyen My Tra portray nature, facilities, and the people who are safeguarding Vietnam’s sovereignty.
“I want to spread the love for our sea and islands to a wider public through this book. I have a special feeling standing at the easternmost point of the country. It seems that all the hardships of life are left behind,” author My Tra said.
Critic Vu Huyen said that the book employs a modern format and touches people’s hearts.
“The book is a perfect combination of writing and photographic journalism. The photos are emotional and close to life,” Huyen explained.
“Truong Sa-Here we come” is a bilingual book in both English and Vietnamese.
