(VOVworld) - Two court bailiffs were killed and a deputy was injured early Tuesday at a courthouse in Berrien County, Michigan in the US.

The gunman — identified by police as 44-year-old Larry Darnell Gordon– was shot and killed.

The scene was a courthouse 90 kilometers west of Kalamazoo, where an Uber driver shot and killed six people early this month.  

Michigan governor Rick Snyder condemned the shooting, said that it’s a particularly tough time for law enforcement, and called on people to be supportive of the agency.
