UK Ambassador thanks Vietnamese doctors, government officials
(VOVWORLD) - UK Ambassador to Vietnam Gareth Ward recorded a video in Vietnamese this week, thanking Vietnam for its support for British residents and tourists during the current COVID-19 outbreak.

Mr. Ward said that stopping the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak is Vietnam’s top priority at the moment. He expressed his gratitude to doctors, nurses and government officials for helping British visitors, who said they also feel grateful.
The ambassador promised that his embassy will continue working closely with the Vietnamese government to fight COVID-19 and help those in need during these exceptional times.
As of Tuesday morning, Vietnam had had 61 COVID-19 cases, including 18 foreigners.
