(VOVworld)- Special forces of Ukraine have launched the second stage of anti-terrorist operation in Ukraine's eastern city of Slavyansk.

These forces have a mission to block the city of Slavyansk which is being captured by the protestors. Acting Head of the Presidential Administration Serhiy Pashynsky said that this operation aims stop terrorists and avoid any possible damage to the people of Slaviansk. On the same day, Russia called on Ukraine to fully implement Geneva deal, in order to ease the escalating tensions.
