(VOVworld) – A Wednesday UN report said the Syrian government and the Islamic State have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The report says IS forces in Syria have launched a campaign to spread terror by brutal torture and public executions. The Syrian Army bombed residential areas 8 times in April using chemical weapons. UN investigators have asked the UN Security Council to bring Syria before the International Criminal Court.
