1.7 million Somalis are in need of food (youtube)

(VOVworld) – The UN called for an emergency 100-million USD humanitarian aid package for 1.7 million Somalis at risk of hunger and serious food shortage due to the ongoing drought and armed conflicts.
A recent UN report said there are 400,000 starving people in need of urgent food supply and 1.3 others are lacking food due to the near-total failure of cereal production.
