(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Defense and an inter-sectoral taskforce on Vietnam’s participation in the UN peace keeping force met in Hanoi on Wednesday to discuss their work plan for this year.

Speaking in the event, Deputy Minister of Defense Nguyen Chi Vinh and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc called for a detailed description of objectives, principles and roadmap for participation by the Vietnamese staff in the activities in line with the UN Charter, international law and Vietnamese regulations. This will expand scopes of activities and size of the staff participating in UN peace keeping missions.
