(VOVworld) – On Thursday, President Barack Obama released a statement praising the TPP and calling on the US Congress to quickly ratify it. He said the agreement expands the US’s leadership role overseas and creates jobs in the US. Ratification of the agreement will not be easy. A large number of Americans oppose it and its supporters want its ratification to be delayed until after the US presidential elections.
