(VOVworld) – The US government on Thursday denied a report that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had asked Russia to send a warning to Iran. Washington reportedly announced that the upcoming six-party nuclear talks will be the last chance for Iran to avoid an attack by the US. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland has refuted to a report published on Thursday by Russian newspaper Kommersant. The newspaper said that Clinton sent the warning to her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on the sideline of a UN Security Council meeting on March 12. It quoted a Russian diplomat as saying that the US and Israel could launch attacks against Iran by the end of this year. Russian Foreign Ministry has no comment on the information.
