US Military resumes joint operations with Iraq
(VOVWORLD) - The United States military resumed joint operations with Iraq on Wednesday, ending a 10-day pause that began after an American airstrike killed top Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad.

The New York Times on Thursday reported that the military wanted to resume operations against the Islamic State as soon as possible. It was unclear on Wednesday whether anyone in the Iraqi government approved the resumption of joint missions. Meanwhile, the Pentagon has not provided more information about this.
