(VOVworld) – The UN Security Council will issue a resolution on Iran’s timetable to enforce its commitments following a nuclear deal with the P5+1 group, a US official on condition of anonymity disclosed on Tuesday.

He said the resolution would be issued within days. He added that the UN resolution was drafted by the US and has received support from UN member states who have the right to veto at the UN and joined nuclear negotiations with Iran. The resolution will allow imposing economic sanctions on Iran unless Iran enforces commitments, but will not likely mention military solutions.
