(VOVworld) – The Foreign Ministers of Germany, France and the UK returned to Vienna, Austria, on Thursday to resume negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group. The move occurred as the new deadline for a comprehensive nuclear deal with Tehran on July 10th approaches.
During an online conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry and all members of the US negotiation team in Vienna, President Barack Obama gave direction on the US’ efforts which is aimed at reaching a comprehensive nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1. According to Iranian President Rouhani, the rounds of talks with the P5+1 are at a sensitive phase and Iran is preparing for the post-negotiation and post-sanctions periods.
In another development, Behrouz Kamalvandi, a spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) of Iran, said on Wednesday that Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have agreed on principles, objectives and progresses to resolve the remaining issues arround Iran’s nuclear program.
