The 90-minute debate will be the first time the two candidates have faced off in a debate since 2020. Neither candidate has yet been officially nominated by their party. Topics will probably include democracy, immigration, abortion, education, taxes, climate change, and foreign policy.

According to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, 64% of respondents said they might watch or listen to part or all of the debate. US voters see Republican Trump as better for the economy but prefer Democratic Biden for preserving democracy, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll found.
