US reaffirms commitment to Israel-Palestine peace process
(VOVworld) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said on Sunday that US President Donald Trump has confirmed US commitment to the peace process between Israel and Palestine in a recent telephone talk.

This was the first telephone conversation between the two leaders since Mr. Trump took office. Palestinian President Abbas said Palestine will continue to cooperate with the US administration to reach comprehensive peace for the two-state solution.
President Trump invited the Palestinian leader to the White House, which was seen by Palestine as a breakthrough in bilateral relations.
