US, South Korea prepare for summits with North Korea
(VOVWORLD) -The denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula will top the agenda for the upcoming meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, which is scheduled to take place in June, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

Earlier, South Korean Ambassador to the US Cho Yoon-je and Susan Thornton, acting US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia, held a meeting in Washington. The two agreed to hold regular consultations of diplomats at the South Korean Embassy and the US State Department.
A Chinese art troupe led by a high-level official will visit North Korea to attend the 31st April Spring Friendship Art Festival, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Wednesday. This art troupe will be making the first visit to North Korea since North Korean leader Kim Jong-un made a surprise visit to Beijing last month.
