US thanks Vietnam for sending antibacterial cloth masks
(VOVWORLD) - US Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel J. Kritenbrink has extended his thanks to the Vietnamese Government and people for sending 250,000 antibacterial cloth masks to help Americans fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the business page for the US Embassy to Vietnam, Ambassador Kritenbrink on Thursday accepted a donation of 200,000 cloth masks from the Government and people of Vietnam and 50,000 masks from Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to go directly to the White House’s Office.
He said the mutual support between the US and Vietnam reflects the reliable partnership that will stand together in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
Ambassador Kritenbrink applauded Vietnam’s efforts in response to the outbreak, adding that the gift is a great boost for morale and a message of solidarity and mutual support from Vietnam to the US.
He affirmed that in the spirit of the comprehensive partnership, the US will continue to work closely, maintain information sharing and strengthen cooperation with Vietnam including cooperative efforts to protect the health and safety of the people and control the disease.
