US Vice President discusses NAFTA with leaders of Mexico, Canada
(VOVWORLD) -US Vice-President Mike Pence has held brief bilateral talks with the leaders of Mexico and Canada about the progress made toward the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The discussions were on the sidelines of the Summit of the Americas in Peru on Saturday.

During the meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Vice President Pence said the two sides are close to the new NAFTA deal, expecting to conclude a successful renegotiation. PM Trudeau said the renegotiations are achieving positive progress in car manufacturing, adding that he hopes the deal would benefit all parties involved.
