(VOVworld) – The Phu Ninh buffalo fighting festival opened on Tuesday in Phu Tho province as part of activities to celebrate the upcoming Hung Kings festival.

The festival, which recreates buffalo fighting from the era of the Hung Kings, received nearly 20,000 visitors this year.
The boat racing festival on the Lo river in Tuyen Quang province also attracted a great number of visitors. This annual sporting event encourages people to be productive, united and healthy.
