A day earlier, Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said he disapproves of US President Donald Trump’s new policy on immigrants and believes it should be condemned.
The Vatican also voiced concerns over President Trump's executive orders to build a wall on the US-Mexico border and impose a travel ban on citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries. Archbishop Angelo Becciu said on the Catholic TV channel TV2000 that all Christians should emphatically reaffirm the message that they are builders of bridges, far less of walls.
