(VOVworld) -  Venezuela started a campaign Thursday to collect 10 million signatures protesting recent US actions. 14,000 polling stations at Venezuela’s major squares will collect signatures until April 9, exactly one month after US President Barack Obama signed of an executive order declaring Venezuela a threat to US national security. Signatures will also be collected through social networks like Facebook and Twitter. The 10 million signatures will accompany a letter of protest which will be sent to Obama, urging him to repeal the executive order and end sanctions that hurt millions of Venezuelans. The campaign is setting strong support from labor unions, youths, students, farmers, artists, social movements, and the National Patriotic Coalition (NPC).
