(VOVworld)- The President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan visited and paid tribute to the Memorial House of President Ton Duc Thang in Long Xuyen city, An Giang province on Monday.
Former State President Nguyen Minh Triet and leaders from An Giang province also attended the event. President Ton Duc Thang was one of Vietnam’s most outstanding leaders.

To mark the occasion, Mr. Nhan and Mr. Triet presented 30 cows and 50 gifts to farmers in Tri Ton district. The cows and gifts are part of the Cow Bank program of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the Vietnam Fatherland Front which assists poor people in the border and other disadvantaged districts.
