Vice President hoped that local authorities would foster education activities

(VOVworld) – Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan presented scholarships to poor students in Ha Nam province and the children of soldiers, marine police, and surveillance forces on duty in Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.The scholarship presentation ceremony was organized by the Study Promotion Association in Ha Nam province on Monday. Nguyen Thi Doan hoped that local students would continue to study hard and do their best to contribute to national development. She also hoped that local authorities would foster education activities and sponsors increase their support for disadvantaged children.

At the ceremony, 325 students received scholarships worth 35,000 USD. 26 children of soldiers, marine police, and surveillance forces were granted 26 scholarships, each worth nearly 150 USD.
