(VOVworld) - General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Choummaly Sayasone and his wife have concluded their 4-day visit to Vietnam.

The visit reflects special solidarity and comprehensive friendship cooperation between the two counties, Parties, States and peoples. President Sayasone and the Laotian delegation have met Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and visited Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong province.
They discussed issues of mutual interests and ways to foster the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation. The Laotian President praised the special solidarity as invaluable while Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong and President Truong Tan Sang pledged Vietnam’s best efforts to deepen bilateral relations for practical outcomes and peace, stability, development and cooperation.
