(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s tourism was highlighted at the 19th Pacific International Tourism Expo on Rusky Island, Vladivostok, in Russia. The 2-day event, which began last Thursday, was an annual tourism expo promoting the tourism potential in Russia’s Far East region and seek partnerships from all around the world with its Primorye province.

Besides highlighting Vietnam’s landscapes and resorts, Vietnam’s pavilion at the event also provided Vietnamese cuisine to visitors, including spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee.
A workshop on tourist co-operation between Vietnam and Russia’s Primorye province was held at event by the Vietnamese Consulate-General in Vladivostok and Primorye’s provincial authorities. Participants discussed ways to promote tourist co-operation, urging there to be more direct flights between Vietnam and Vladivostok in the near future.
