(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received a delegation from the Cambodian parliament led by Chairman Samdech Heng Somrin in Hanoi on Monday. Chairman Somrin said Cambodia would work closely with Vietnam to nurture their traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

He said Cambodia and Vietnam would continue to implement their signed agreements and joint statements. The Vietnamese party leader said Vietnam always prioritized consolidating its neighborliness, traditional friendship, and comprehensive cooperation with Cambodia. He praised the results of cooperation between the two countries’ legislatures in recent years and called for strengthened cooperation between their agencies and localities.
