Vietnam cooperates with the UK to support repatriation of 39 dead victims
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang told the press on Thursday that Vietnam hasn’t received any information from Britain about financial support for the repatriation of remains of 39 victims from Essex.

She said Vietnamese agencies are cooperating with Britain to support the victim families in line with humanitarian spirit, international law as well as Vietnamese and British custom and regulations.
Regarding a burned down vessel near Jeju island, South Korea, in which many were claimed missing, including 6 Vietnamese, the spokeswoman said the Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea has cooperated with relevant local agencies in search and rescue operations. Update information will be provided to the workers’ families timely with all necessary civil protection measures.
