(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan said the Vietnamese Party, State, and people always attach great importance to traditional relations with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Mr. Nhan made the statement at a Monday reception in Hanoi for Choe Jin-su, Chairman of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea. The guest is in Hanoi to attend IPU-132.

Nhan noted that Vietnam intends to consolidate and strengthen the time-honoured friendship for the benefit of their peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region.

In reply, Mr. Choe expressed his desire to speed up experience sharing in nation-building and development.
