(VOVworld) – Andrey Klimov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Council of Russian Federation, has said Vietnam has proven its important role in hosting the 132^nd Inter-Parliamentary Union General Assembly (IPU-132). Klimov told VOV’s correspondent in Russia:“I’m glad that Vietnam will host IPU 132 for the first time. I believe that Vietnam is an ideal place to organize the event although Vietnam has never held such a big event before. With our joint efforts, I strongly believe that IPU 132 will be a great success.”
