Vietnam ensures protection of its citizens in Ukraine
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is closely watching the situation in Ukraine and Vietnamese citizen protection in the country, said Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang at a press conference on Thursday.

Hang said the Ministry has directed its Embassy in Ukraine to directly visit the Vietnamese community to explore actual situation and no major disturbance has been reported.
Regarding the US Department of Commerce’s initial anti-dumping tax rate of 400% levied on Vietnamese honey bee products, the spokeswoman said that the Ministry of Industry and Trade has commented on this issue. Vietnam expected to promote comprehensive partnership with the US towards positive development especially in trade for harmonious and sustainable interests. Vietnam is willing to hold and has held regular exchanges with the US via current mechanisms to accelerate investment, economic and trade relations while settle emerging issues in a timely manner to promote bilateral comprehensive partnership for mutual benefits.
